Final Construction Phase
The Library is open for Curbside Pickup and digital services only. Patrons will not be able to enter the building due to the renovation of the existing first floor. Patrons may reserve items for Curbside Pickup by calling us at 440-988-4230 or by logging into our online catalog at catalog.amherstpubliclibrary.org. Please call ahead to receive instructions for Curbside Pickup, as the parking locations may vary due to construction needs.
We will offer photocopying, faxing, and notary services through Curbside Pickup beginning Monday, March 14. Appointments are preferred for these services and can be made by calling 440-988-4230 or emailing AskALibrarian@amherstpubliclibrary.org. Same day appointments will be available.
Curbside Pickup will be available Monday through Thursday, 10am – 8pm, and Friday & Saturday, 11am – 4:30pm. The library will remain closed on Sundays.
The book drop located at the Spring Street entrance will remain available for materials returns. Please call the library during open hours to arrange for return of any items that will not fit through the book drop.
