Teen Volunteer Program
The Amherst Public Library is restarting our Teen Volunteer program! The Teen Volunteer program is for kids and teens aged 10 – 18 who would like to volunteer their time to help with various library events and projects. It’s a great way to gain experience, complete service hours for NHS and other organizations, learn about libraries, and have fun!
We are currently looking for volunteers to help with Summer Reading and summer programs, but will offer various volunteer opportunities throughout the year. Please note, previous participants in this program will need to reapply this year!
Parent or guardian permission is required. If you have a child who would like to volunteer, please complete the Teen Library Volunteer Application here: https://forms.gle/Tkmu5Ri4zZnsfMpA8
If you have multiple children who would like to volunteer, a form should be completed for each child. If you would prefer to complete a paper application, please call the library at (440)988-4230.
For more information, please call Youth Services Manager Nancy Tomek at (440)988-4230 or email ntomek@amherstpubliclibrary.org.
