Storytimes

Choose the session that works for you:

Preschool Storytime – Mondays at 10:30am
Stories, songs, and rhymes for children ages 3 – 5 years old.

Toddler Tales Storytime-Tuesdays at 10:30am
Stories, songs, and rhymes for children 2 – 3 years old and their caregivers. 

Waddlers Storytime – Wednesdays at 10:30am
Stories, songs, and rhymes for babies and little ones up to 24 months old and their caregivers.

Adapted Storytime – Monthly on a Saturday at 10:15am (check calendar for date)
Children with varying learning styles and abilities are invited to come together in a supported environment to participate in stories, songs, and activities where respect for differences is practiced and encouraged. The program will last 15-20 minutes, followed by social time. Content is designed for ages 3-7, but all ages are welcome!  Parents and siblings are also welcome and encouraged to attend! Registration is required.

Music & Movement Storytime – Monthly on a Friday at 11:15am (check calendar for date)
Stretch, sing, dance, and jump along in this fast-paced storytime. Designed for ages 2-6 and their caregivers and will include stories, songs, instruments and more!

  • Music + Movement Storytime

    12/06/24 @ 11:15am – 12/06/24 @ 11:45am Community Room A/B Amherst Public Library Stretch, sing, dance, and jump along in this fast-paced storytime! This storytime is designed for children ages 2-6 and their caregivers, and will include stories, songs, instruments and more! Registration is not needed for these sessions.

  • Holiday Cookie Storytime for Preschoolers

    12/09/24 @ 10:30am – 12/09/24 @ 11:00am Community Room A/B Amherst Public Library Stories, songs, and rhymes for children ages 3 – 5 years old.  This week, enjoy a special holiday storytime followed by holiday cookie decorating! 

  • Holiday Cookie Storytime for Toddlers
