COVID-19 Test Kits
COVID-19 rapid tests are now available to order through the United States government. There is a limit of four per household. Tests can be ordered by filling out the form at www.covidtests.gov. Orders will ship within 7 – 12 days. If you need assistance completing an order, our Reference staff is available to help!

Rapid antigen self-test kits are available for free through at our drive-up window, thanks to an initiative by the State of Ohio. Per the Ohio Department of Health, tests kits are limited to four per household per day.
We cannot guarantee that tests will be in stock. Call 440-988-4230 in advance to verify that test kits are available. Please pick up kits at our drive-up window.
- Please note: The COVID-19 Rapid Antigen self-test kits do not require an eMed proctor. These tests are for personal use only and cannot be used for travel, return to school, or to end quarantine.

Kits cannot be returned and the Amherst Public Library cannot assist in administering the test kits.
The Amherst Public Library is not the manufacturer nor the operator of the COVID-19 Antigen Rapid test kits. The Amherst Public Library is distributing the kits as part of a State of Ohio initiative and is not responsible for any issues resulting from the use of the testing kit. The Amherst Public Library is not able to access or provide medical information nor is the Amherst Public Library able to provide support for administering the COVID-19 test.
