Get a Library Card Online
Any resident of the state of Ohio may register for a library card. Your library card is free and may be used to borrow any of our materials, including books, DVDs, videos, books on CD, and to access our FREE research databases, digital library and other electronic resources.
By applying online, you will receive your Library Card number within 1 week via email, after which you will be able to place holds in our catalog, access our online databases, and download ebooks, audiobooks, and other digital materials.
During your first visit to the Library, bring a photo ID, showing your current address to the Circulation desk. A physical library card will be issued to you at that time. You will then have full borrowing privileges.
If you do not plan on coming in, you may continue to use our online databases and download e-materials for as long as you like using the numbers you received via email. A physical library card is only needed if you plan on borrowing materials from the Library.
